We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Management Analyst to join our team and help optimize our business operations, improve efficiency, and drive strategic decision-making.

Job Description

We are looking for a Management Analyst who excels in data analysis, process improvement, and strategic planning. As a key member of our team, you will assess organizational workflows, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance productivity and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes, workflows, and operational inefficiencies to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize organizational performance and resource allocation.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses and prepare reports to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, assess needs, and recommend solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting business operations.
  • Lead project management activities, including planning, execution, and performance tracking.
  • Supervise and mentor junior management analysts, reviewing their work and providing guidance on analytical methods and project execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field.
  • More than 2 years of professional experience as a Management Analyst or in a closely related analytical role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and at least one data analysis tool (e.g., SQL, Tableau, or Power BI).
  • Proven experience analyzing business processes and developing actionable improvement recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and guide junior management analysts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills in both Mandarin and English.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and tools is preferred.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.

Preferred But Not Required

All preferred qualifications are optional and are not minimum requirements for the position.

These preferred skills do not increase the complexity of the offered position and do not elevate the wage level.

Wage Level Justification

This posting is classified using the worksheet method from the DOL's 2009 Prevailing Wage Determination Policy Guidance (see Wage Level Determination). Baseline occupation: Management Analysts (O*NET-SOC 13-1111.00), Job Zone 4 — experience range over 2 years up to and including 4 years; usual education: Bachelor's degree.

Compared with the Level I posting, this posting adds three minimum requirements:

  • Experience (Step 2): more than 2 years of professional management analyst experience falls in the low end of the Job Zone 4 range (over 2 and up to 4 years), adding +1.
  • Special skills (Step 4): Mandarin-English bilingual communication is a foreign-language requirement, generally treated as a special skill, adding +1.
  • Supervisory duties (Step 5): this position supervises and mentors junior management analysts. Supervision is not a customary duty of the Management Analysts occupation, so the requirement adds +1 — the guidance's parallel example scores a Software Engineer position supervising 2 junior engineers at +1.

The Master's degree is listed under Preferred Skills only; preferred qualifications are not minimum requirements and do not score, so the education requirement remains the occupation's usual Bachelor's degree (Step 3 +0).
